Stay with us by the sea

Our 16 guest rooms sit just above The Seafood Restaurant in Padstow. They’re a comfortable, peaceful base, perfect if you’re planning to spend a few days exploring the harbour, the coast path or simply taking it slow with good food and sea air.

Restaurant with rooms

Each room is light, calm and simply done. Coastal colours, crisp sheets and bits Jill and Kate Stein have chosen carefully to make it feel like home rather than a hotel. If you’re in one of our Estuary or Master rooms, you’ll have views out over the Camel Estuary, sailing boats, changing skies and the tide moving in and out.

The bathrooms are spacious, with big walk-in showers and baths for a proper soak. You’ll find Jill’s Porthdune toiletries, made just down the coast and gentle on your skin after a day in the sun and sea.

There’s glassware for a quiet drink before dinner, a tray for tea or coffee when you need it and robes to sink into after a day out, thoughtful touches to make your stay easy and comfortable.

In the morning, open the windows, breathe in the sea air and take your time. Whether you’re looking out across the rooftops or watching the light shift over the estuary, it’s a quiet moment before the day gets going.

Breakfast at The Seafood Restaurant

Dine at The Seafood Restaurant for breakfast. The coffee’s on, the pastries are warm and the kitchen’s already busy. You’ll find eggs cooked how you like them, bacon, proper hollandaise and a good spread on the continental table, the little cinnamon rolls are always popular.

Explore Padstow

Staying here means you’re close to everything. The harbour is just around the corner and there are plenty of walks, shops and places to sit with a coffee and watch the world go by. Dinner downstairs is always special, but there’s no pressure, the rooms are yours to enjoy however you like.

We’ve got private parking too, which makes arriving and heading out for the day much simpler.

At the end of the day, we just want you to feel relaxed, well-fed and totally at home, with a little Cornish magic thrown in.
