Unsung Seafood

Join us in October as we invite you to discover a new side to seafood. Jack Stein, our Chef Director and Jason, our Head of Food, have been in the test kitchen to perfect new dishes that champion unsung seafood in dishes you know and love.

The exciting part about unsung seafood is we don’t always know what’s being landed by the fishermen, so expect changing specials to try across our menus.


Discover Unsung Seafood with Jack Stein

As part of our Unsung Seafood celebration, join us for an intimate 5-course dinner by the Thames in Barnes that’s all about discovering the unsung fish and shellfish of the British Isles. Hosted by Jack Stein and Cornish fisherman, Danny Phillips.

Look forward to plenty of stories from their lifetimes in the trade, giving you a glimpse into the exciting world of Cornish fishing whilst you try Jack’s creations on the menu.

Charity Shellfish Feast Nights

Sandbanks and Barnes

We like to dedicate a couple weeks of the year to supporting those who need a little more help. During the winter months our charity menus support charities close to our communities in Padstow, Sandbanks, Winchester, Marlborough and Barnes.

In Sandbanks and Barnes this year, you can look forward to a shellfish feast put together by our expert chefs, followed by something sweet for dessert. There will also be live music on each night.

Beaujolais Celebrations with Jack and Charlie

Join us at our Sandbanks restaurant for a celebration of Beaujolais Nouveau with Jack and Charlie Stein. Experience an evening of vibrant French wine and a 5-course menu crafted by Jack. Indulge in a specially curated menu that pairs perfectly with the fresh, fruity flavours of Beaujolais Nouveau, all hand-picked by Charlie. The evening promises great food, insightful commentary from the Steins, and a lively atmosphere – an event that’s sure to be memorable.


Seafood Odyssey with Lisa Snowden

Jack’s Seafood Odyssey event series is a celebration of his lifelong love of fresh fish and shellfish from around our coast, and bringing people together for great food and drink experiences in our restaurants in London and the south west.


The Seafood Restaurant £35 Set Menu

For £35, enjoy a three-course autumn set menu, perfect for a cosy afternoon as the days grow cooler.

Begin with your choice of seafood quenelles with a crayfish butter Nantua sauce and light buttery fleurons to start, followed by Rick’s cheesy chicken, leek and cider gratin, a dish he deems ‘the perfect autumnal lunch.’ For dessert look forward to pouring plenty of butterscotch sauce on your steamed butterscotch pudding with lashings of crème Anglaise.

Every day from 12pm to 2pm.


Jack and Charlie’s Wine Dinners

Jack and Charlie, know a thing or two about memorable dining experiences.

This autumn, from Padstow to London, the sibling duo invite you to join them for a series of wine dinners, where they’ll showcase their insider knowledge with a five course menu of classic dishes from Jack and carefully curated wine pairings from Charlie.

Look forward to an evening of great food, wine and conversation, hosted by Jack and Charlie at your local restaurant.

Located on the banks of the River Thames, our restaurant delivers some pleasing peace from fast-paced London life with timeless views and a nod to our Cornish homeland.

Winchester

Our Winchester restaurant brings touches of our heritage to Hampshire with Cornish catch delivered daily that our team cook simply to tried and tested recipes.

Marlborough

Our restaurant at the heart of historic Marlborough is quite different to our others. The Grade II listed building comprises various cosy dining rooms split over two floors.

The Seafood Restaurant

Our flagship restaurant in Padstow was opened by Rick and Jill in 1975. Nearly 50 years on, the menu still reflects everything that Rick set out to achieve – a celebration of great quality fish and shellfish, simply cooked.

St Petroc’s Bistro

Classic French cookery is the order of the day at our Bistro. Just steps from Padstow harbour, we first opened its doors over 30 years ago with a menu akin to a relaxed Parisian bistro, think steak frites and a large glass of Bordeaux. 

Rick Stein’s Cafe

Our informal, family friendly café with atmospheric Cornish charm provides a relaxing pause in the middle of Padstow from lunch until late.
The menu features dishes inspired by Rick’s travels around the world.

The Cornish Arms

The Cornish Arms is a local village pub with good real ales and simple, classic pub menu where everyone is welcome.
If a few quiet pints are what you fancy, pull up a stool in our drinkers’ bar for a very pleasing time indeed.


Supper Clubs

Hosted by our Restaurant Managers and Head Chefs, each supper focuses on good food and fab conversation.
Our supper clubs welcome members of the community to dine on Rick’s recipes not usually found on our menus – each is themed around a different cookery book and seated in a communal style.

Masterclasses

Our hour long masterclasses cover everything from classic dishes like lobster thermidor or lessons on how to fillet fish and shuck oysters to wine tasting with our sommelier and seasonal cocktail masterclasses.

Discover hints and tips to make your life easier in the kitchen and enjoy plenty of tasters along the way.

Mini Steins

Meet some of our fishy friends and learn about the creatures of our sea. A fun and interactive session for kids aged 5 -14. A chance to see our favourite seafood up close, learn how we prepare each and the chance to taste so family favourites.
