Rick Stein’s Seafood Restaurant in London
Located on the banks of the River Thames, opposite Kew and along from Richmond, our restaurant delivers some pleasing peace from fast-paced London life with timeless views and a nod to our Cornish homeland. On the menu you’ll find a celebration of the very best fish and shellfish from around a coast and some of our most iconic dishes that have stood the test of time like tronçon of turbot with hollandaise, grilled lobster with fines herbes and sole Véronique. On a clear day, spend an hour or more in our courtyard with a bottle from Charlie’s wine list and a platter of oysters – very nice indeed.
Our river setting is also the ideal location to sample our great value weekday set menu, three courses £29.95. (See below for full availability.) All complemented with some of Rick and Charlie Stein’s favourite wines that perfectly pair with our menus.
RICK STEIN’S FOOD STORIES
Rick’s latest series takes you on a culinary adventure across Great Britain. From Cumbria to Bristol and Suffolk to Belfast, he explores the diverse food and drink that people love today. The series showcases 30 dishes, two of which you’ll find on our menu…
Tattie Scones with Smoked Salmon
This recipe is of course inspired by travels north of the boarder and pairs Rick’s classic smoked salmon with potato and spring onion scones, a beetroot salad and fiery crème fraîche.
Salt Cod Fish Cakes
The delightful combination of salt cod fish cakes and a good spoonful of aioli might transport you to the Spanish coast somewhere. But no, the recipe for this fab dish was discovered near Bristol at a café called Houria during his Food Stories travels. We rather like a plate or two to share for the table as an appetiser.
