Our Café in Padstow has something for everyone – light lunches, relaxed dinners, coffee and cake.
Our informal, family friendly café with atmospheric Cornish charm provides a relaxing pause in the middle of Padstow from mid morning until late.
The menu features locally sourced produce and the freshest fish, combined to create simple dishes inspired by Rick’s travels around the world – especially the Far East. His salt and pepper prawns, for example, have been a mainstay on the menu ever since he bought the recipe back from Hong Kong in the 90s.
Our full menu is available all day or join us from 10am for coffee and cake. Enjoy some peace and quiet during the hustle and bustle of summer with a glass of something cold in our dog-friendly courtyard.
We believe that lunch should be something to look forward to, not just a midday necessity. Our lunchtime sandwiches are made with fresh ingredients, sourced locally where possible. Whether you’re after a classic or something more adventurous, our sandwiches are designed to satisfy, giving you the perfect fuel to power through your afternoon and carry you to supper time.
All £12, served 12pm – 3pm, every day.
FAMILY FRIENDLY
Children are very welcome at Rick Stein’s Café – our children’s menu is available during lunch and dinner service.
All children and babies should be included in the table size when making a reservation. Please note on your booking if you require a highchair.
PUSHCHAIRS
Due to the size of the café there isn’t space for pushchairs – they can however be left safely in our entrance hall.
DOGS
Dogs are welcome in our courtyard only. Our secluded courtyard away from the hustle and bustle of Padstow has three tables that are partially covered and are only available if the weather permits.
Please note that we cannot offer a table inside the Café in the event of inclement weather for tables booked in the courtyard.
Asian Takeaway
Please note, takeaways are not currently available.
Your favourite Asian dishes are now available to takeaway to enjoy at home, on the harbour or overlooking the estuary. Choose from dishes including salt and pepper prawns, Pondicherry cod curry and sticky toffee pudding.
Please note, takeaways are not currently available.
