Walking the coastline

Villages and attractions that brim with visitors in summer are peaceful, so you can pull up, stretch your legs and explore at your own pace.

A favourite day out is the Eden Project, its vast biomes warm and bright even on a grey day, wander through rainforest air while the Cornish weather does what it likes outside. Or drive a little further west to St Ives, where the narrow streets, artists’ studios, and Tate gallery feel like they belong entirely to you.
