Winchester school art competition winner announced
06.01.2015
This autumn we launched an art competition to local primary schools in Winchester. Hundreds of paintings were entered which were displayed in the restaurant windows on the high street before it opened this autumn.
We are delighted to announce that the overall winner is Rosalie, age 9, from St. Bede Church of England School for her watercolour entitled ‘A Study of Shells Found on Hayling Island’. Her prize is a three course meal for her and her family at Rick Stein Winchester.
We were overwhelmed with the number of entries we had and would like to thank everybody that sent in their artwork. Here are a few of our favourites, take a look on our Facebook page for more entries.
