Join Jack Stein for a two-day adventure of great Cornish produce. Not only will you head out onto the Camel Estuary to catch your own lunch, you’ll also get to meet our local vegetable supplier and former head chef, Ross Geach from Padstow Kitchen Garden before getting the chance to cook some of his produce back in the kitchen. Day 1
- Fishing trip on the Camel Estuary
- Nasi Goreng
- Pollock fillet with new potatoes and spinach
Day 2
- Pad Thai
- Visit and tour of Padstow Kitchen Garden, including a demo with Jack and owner, Ross Geach.
Lunch at the farm - Ragout of sautéed Lemon Sole with serrano ham, summer veg & pea shoots
- Seared scallop succotash

Arrival and welcome – Enjoy a tea or coffee while browsing the recipes for the day and meeting your fellow chefs
Start – Watch our chefs demo a selection of dishes then recreate some of the dish in pairs at your workstation enjoying the fruits of your labour
Lunch – At our long ‘en famille’ dining table overlooking the Camel Estuary with a glass of wine or two
Afternoon demo – Time to relax with a glass of wine and watch our chef demonstrate the final dish of the day
4pm – Finish. You will be presented with a Padstow Seafood School certificate and recipe folder plus a chance to browse our shop with an exclusive voucher.
