Two-Day Best of Rick’s Padstow Restaurants: New for 2026
Spend two days in Padstow celebrating the very best of our Cornish restaurants. Each day you’ll be joined by Head Chefs from across our sites, from The Cornish Arms and St Petroc’s Bistro to The Seafood Restaurant and Rick Stein’s Café, as they share the techniques and stories behind some of their signature dishes.
It’s an inspiring deep-dive into the food that defines Rick’s hometown: generous, seasonal cooking rooted in Cornwall’s coast and countryside.

Day One
- The Cornish Arms
Deep fried chicken wings with a chilli sambal
Jack’s Scotch egg - The Seafood Restaurant
Chargrilled lightly smoked trout with chive dressing
DEMO – Lobster pithivier - Rick Stein’s Cookery School
DEMO – Ragout turbot and scallops with vouvray and basil
Day Two
- St Petroc’s Bistro
Steak tartare
DEMO – French onion soup - Rick Stein’s Cafe
Salt and pepper prawns
Roasted sea bass with a Thai hot, sour and sweet sauce - Rick Stein’s Cookery School
DEMO – Duck in red wine prunes and chocolate
Arrival and welcome – Enjoy a tea or coffee while browsing the recipes for the day and meeting your fellow chefs
Start – Watch our chefs demo a selection of dishes then recreate some of the dish in pairs at your workstation enjoying the fruits of your labour
Lunch – At our long ‘en famille’ dining table overlooking the Camel Estuary with a glass of wine or two
Afternoon demo – Time to relax with a glass of wine and watch our chef demonstrate the final dish of the day
4pm – Finish. You will be presented with a Padstow Seafood School certificate and recipe folder plus a chance to browse our shop with an exclusive voucher.
