A note from Jill Stein

I’ve been busy over the winter and into spring working with Ed and Kate to upgrade some of our hotel rooms in Padstow as well as refreshing the dining room and bar at St Petroc’s Bistro. These projects are such a team effort between us, Maintenance Manager Sam and local craftspeople to bring our ideas to life. I’m so happy with what we’ve achieved this year, now to decide the next rooms to refresh.

We’re all hoping for a brilliant summer in Cornwall. As a nation, I always think we need a bit of sun, sand and sea – especially after a challenging few months for everyone. Come and blow away the winter blues on the beautiful beaches and coastal walks whilst staying in our hotel rooms, shepherd’s huts or self-catering properties. We hope to welcome you this summer or later in the year.

On the retail side of things, my great friend Teri Walter has joined the business to support in the Gift Shop. She had her own homeware shop in Padstow for many years, opposite our coffee shop, which you’ll probably remember. Kate is always busy working on new designs for our in-house retail products and packaging for the gift shop and online. Cushions, ceramics, candles, soap and more that are exclusive to us.
