Panoramic Views of Poole Harbour

Perched on the edge of Poole Harbour, our glass-walled dining room lets you feast on the freshest catch while watching passing sails, fishing boats and the gentle ebb of the tide. It’s the sort of view that makes lunch drift happily into the afternoon and by evening, with the lights beginning to dance across the water, it’s a setting that feels made for seafood.

This season, lobster takes centre stage, served three ways to showcase its delicate, sweet flavour. Whether grilled with garlic butter, baked into a classic thermidor or brought to life with vibrant Goan spices, each dish is a reminder of how good shellfish from our own waters is.

Our team are there to share a little of the story behind each dish, to suggest a glass of wine that lifts it further and sometimes to bring a touch of theatre with food finished at the table. And then there’s the harbour itself, the view that ties it all together, particularly as the sun dips and the water glows.

New Bar Menu

Downstairs, the bar has taken on a life of its own with a new menu from Rick and Jack, that’s a little more laid-back than upstairs. Seafood is still at the heart of things, but here it’s about dropping in for something easy, a plate of tempura, a few tacos with a cold drink.

It’s the sort of place you can wander into straight from the beach, no need for a booking, just a warm welcome and a bite to eat in a more casual setting.

We had a lovely meal to celebrate getting married. The restaurant is beautiful and has a relaxed atmosphere with beautiful views. Most importantly the food is delicious.

Amazing foodservice and location. Have been coming for years our “go to” restaurant of choice, even if only for coffee with the dog after a beach walk.
