We opened the doors of St Petroc’s Bistro over 30 years ago, creating a relaxed Padstow restaurant where great food, warm hospitality and memorable moments come together.

Just a short stroll from Padstow Harbour, our menu celebrates the very best Cornish produce, inspired by Rick’s travels and a love of simple, ingredient-led cooking. Whether you’re joining us for a leisurely lunch, cocktails in the garden, dinner with friends or a weekend stay, you’ll find a warm welcome and spaces designed for every occasion.

From long lunches and family celebrations to cocktails before dinner and relaxed evenings with friends, St Petroc’s is designed to feel as comfortable for a spontaneous visit as it is for a special occasion.

Our menus change with the seasons, celebrating Cornwall’s exceptional seafood, meat and vegetables alongside Mediterranean-inspired flavours that have shaped Rick’s cooking for decades.

The secret garden

Hidden behind the restaurant, our secluded garden is one of Padstow’s best-kept secrets. Join us for lunch in the sunshine, afternoon drinks or dinner under the Cornish sky. Al fresco dining at its best.

Ruby’s Cocktail Bar

Downstairs you’ll find Ruby’s, our intimate cocktail bar. Whether you’re meeting friends before dinner or settling in for the evening, expect expertly mixed classics, seasonal cocktails and a relaxed atmosphere.

Dog-friendly dining

Dogs are always welcome in our designated dining areas, making St Petroc’s the perfect place to stop after exploring Padstow. Enjoy the same menus, warm hospitality and relaxed atmosphere with your four-legged companion by your side.

Early Supper by the Sea

Our Early Supper by the Sea is a chance to enjoy a relaxed, unhurried meal before the evening really begins. Two or three courses of seasonal dishes. Served 5pm – 6:30pm, Monday to Thursday. Not available on bank holidays.

Celebrate the vibrant flavours of Asia with an exclusive four-course tasting menu, beginning with a selection of sharing dishes before enjoying a menu of bold, aromatic flavours.

The Female Founder’s Table

We were delighted to host Jill’s Female Founder’s Table lunch last year.

Jill Stein was joined by Siebe Richards, Restaurant Manager of The Seafood Restaurant, for an intimate autumn lunch. Guests enjoyed an afternoon of conversation, connection and seasonal dishes, including sharing appetisers, a three-course menu with wine, and stories and reflections from Jill herself.

It was a sold out event and we look forward to hosting more.
