Rick Stein Summer of Shellfish
Chef Director Jack Stein says

“I’m very proud of the success of our Summer of Shellfish celebration, especially raising £11,000 for The National Lobster Hatchery in Padstow. Supporting local causes has always been important to our business and I want to thank everyone that enjoyed our lobster and chips special over the summer.”

Emily Hodges from the lobster hatchery added

“We really are overwhelmed by the incredible level of donation that Steins achieved throughout their ‘Summer of Shellfish’. We hope that all customers feel gratified to know that simply by purchasing seafood they have played a very important part in the NLH’s charitable mission. It is incredibly reassuring when those who utilise our native marine resources go out of their way to help ‘put back’ and do their bit to help sustain vulnerable stocks for the future.”

Supporting local charities

Across our business we support chosen charities local to us who support food poverty, homelessness, children with life limiting illnesses and charities related to our industry – including The National Lobster Hatchery and St Petroc’s homeless charity.
