Our Café in Padstow has something for everyone.
Nestled in the heart of Padstow, our informal family friendly café offers a menu that celebrates local and global cooking. From a relaxed brunch to a light lunch or a leisurely evening meal, our new dishes are inspired by Rick’s travels and passion for fresh, simple ingredients.
The menu features locally sourced produce and the freshest fish, combined to create simple dishes from around the world – especially the Far East. Rick’s salt and pepper prawns, for example, have been a mainstay on the menu ever since he bought the recipe back from Hong Kong in the 90s.
Whether you’re popping in after a morning by the harbour or settling in for a cosy supper, our café is the perfect place to pause, unwind, and enjoy good food.
3 COURSES FOR £32
There are some things you just don’t forget, and our fixed price menu has always been one of them. It’s one of those things people never stopped asking about and we’re really pleased to be serving it once more.
Three courses for £32, chosen from our à la carte menu. A few dishes are excluded, but there’s still plenty to get excited about. Whether you’re in the mood for something fresh and light, or rich and comforting, the flavours are all there.
It’s the kind of menu that invites you to slow down, linger over each course and enjoy another glass of wine.
FAMILY FRIENDLY
We believe family meals should feel like a treat, not a test. Our children’s menu is full of favourites, all £7.50, and if it’s one of those days when only a feast will do, you can add a Cawston Press juice and a scoop of Treleavens Cornish ice cream for £2.50 more.
While you settle in, we’ll bring over some complimentary hummus and colourful crudités to keep small appetites content, and there are highchairs and plenty of colouring-in to keep little hands busy.
Our fisherman explorer booklet invites budding young seafood fans to try something new. There are ten species to discover, from the familiar to the more surprising, with a sticky reward at the end, plus a word search and plenty of colouring-in along the way.
All children and babies should be included in the table size when making a reservation. Please note on your booking if you require a highchair.
PUSHCHAIRS
Due to the size of the café there isn’t space for pushchairs – they can however be left safely in our entrance hall.
DOGS
Dogs are welcome in our courtyard only. Our secluded courtyard away from the hustle and bustle of Padstow has three tables that are partially covered and are only available if the weather permits.
Please note that we cannot offer a table inside the Café in the event of inclement weather for tables booked in the courtyard.
PARKING
There are four large pay and display car parks in Padstow; the harbour, South Quay, Link Road and the Lawns car park.
TAXIS
Not staying in Padstow? Plan ahead and book a taxi to get you home. Find our preferred taxi services here.
CELEBRATION CAKES
We love celebrating special moments with you, and if you’d like to bring your own cake, we’re happy to accommodate with a small £5 per person fee. This covers the service essentials like plating and utensils to make sure everything’s just right. Want to explore our dessert options instead? Our Pastry Chefs have plenty of creations to please the whole table. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions—we’re here to help.
