Gold Service Scholarship Winner

We couldn’t be more proud to share that our very own Steph Beresforde won The Gold Service Scholarship 2017 last night at Claridge’s in London. Steph has worked at Rick Stein’s and Jill Stein’s The Seafood Restaurant in Padstow, Cornwall, as Assistant Restaurant Manager since summer 2016, where she had also worked for six months in 2014. Her next exciting role is to lead a training programme for our newest restaurant in Barnes, London, which is due to open this spring.

“Launched in 2012 as the UK’s most prestigious Front of House award, it offers the opportunity for an aspiring individual to hone their craft through mentoring, travel and placement opportunities provided by the industry’s most senior service professionals.” Steph, who was awarded ‘one to watch’ in last year’s competition came out on top against seven other finalists and over 100 entrants in total.

A great achievement, and one we’re so happy to have been involved in.
