Rick Stein x Fortnum & Mason at The Royal Exchange

This summer, join us in the heart of London at the Royal Exchange for a limited-time celebration of The Seafood Restaurant’s 50th year, brought to life in collaboration with Fortnum & Mason. From 5th June until 5th August this collaboration brings together two British brands with a shared love of great food and drink experiences and warm hospitality, so you can indulge in a menu of Rick’s classics – simple, seasonal and unmistakably special. It’s a menu shaped by five decades of memories, stories and signature dishes, served in one of London’s most beautiful dining rooms.

Rick’s dishes will be served alongside the elegant seafood menu of Fortnum & Mason’s Executive Chef Julien Lancrume. Expect Portland dressed crab, English asparagus with herb vinaigrette, and the famed Royal Exchange caviar trolley, featuring blinis, baked new potatoes, scrambled eggs and a choice of rare sturgeon caviars.

Tucked under the grand arches of The Royal Exchange, Fortnum’s restaurant is a calm, elegant hideaway just moments from Bank. Whether you’re dropping in for a midweek treat, lingering over a long lunch or meeting friends for a glass of something cold, this is a summer moment worth savouring.

Nestled in the heart of London’s financial district, Fortnum’s bar and restaurant at The Royal Exchange offers old-school glamour in a truly historic setting. Originally opened by Queen Elizabeth I and rebuilt in 1844, the Exchange is now home to Fortnum & Mason’s seafood-focused menu, towers of oysters, fruits de mer and now, a taste of Rick’s Cornish classics.

Celebrating 50 Years of The Seafood Restaurant

This year, Rick and Jill are celebrating an incredible milestone – 50 years since they first opened The Seafood Restaurant in Padstow. What began in 1975 as a shared dream and a deep love for fresh, local seafood has grown into something truly special, thanks to the support of every guest who’s dined with us over the decades.

As part of this golden anniversary, we’re thrilled to be sharing the celebration with Fortnum & Mason – bringing a taste of our Cornish story to the heart of London. It’s a wonderful way to mark this moment, reflecting on how far we’ve come and looking ahead to what’s next.

Thank you for being part of our journey – whether it’s your first visit or your fiftieth, we’re so grateful to celebrate this special year with you.
