We’re a family business with roots in the small fishing port of Padstow, Cornwall since we first opened The Seafood Restaurant in 1975.

Rick and Jill are both still at the helm, with their three sons heavily involved in the business too, and a strong management team in place.

Our passion for fresh fish, simply cooked is stronger than ever and great food and stand out service is at the heart of what we do. We know that to be our best we need to invest in our people.

Rick Stein CBE

Founder, Co-Owner and Chef

Rick is best known for a love of fresh, simple seafood and made his name in the 90’s with his earliest books and television series based on his life as chef and owner of The Seafood Restaurant in the fishing port of Padstow.

Jill Stein OBE

Founder, Co-Owner and Interior Designer

Jill has been and remains to be pivotal in the success and growth of the business, from the single restaurant she and Rick started within Padstow harbour, to the world-renowned business it is today.

Jack Stein

Chef Director

It’s all about the food. Jack is our Chef Director overseeing all of the menus at our restaurants.

Charlie Stein

Director

Charlie is passionate about creating extraordinary dining experiences with excellent wine, personally choosing every bottle in the business.

Ed & Kate Stein

Style Directors

Ed and Kate work with to support in the design and building process of each of our unique restaurants and properties as well as retail ranges.
