Try Your First – Kids Masterclass

Join us at Rick Stein’s Cookery School for a special “Try Your First” event, designed to introduce children aged 4 to 12 to the joys of seafood in a fun and engaging way. Led by Nick, this hands-on session will explore different seafood species.

Rick Stein Fistral x Korev Terrace Opening Party
Friday 23rd May from 2pm
There’s something special about this time of year, longer days and that first chilled beer overlooking the surf. To welcome the season, we’re inviting you to join us on our brand-new Korev Terrace, a place to unwind and take in the sunset view with a cold beer in hand. Look forward to Cornish talent with live music and art and some first come, first served free beers.

First Slice of Summer

We’ve missed the smell of dough meeting flame, the golden edges of a properly made pizza and the simple pleasure of sharing food outdoors with people you love. That’s why we’re lighting the oven again.
Join us on Friday 23rd May for an afternoon and evening of woodfired pizza, music and laid-back celebration. From 3pm, the pizzas are back. From 6pm, live music drifts in with sea shanties and folk from The Harbour Buoys, before Ed Stein takes us into the evening with a DJ set.
The Seafood Restaurant turns 50
Celebrating 50 fantastic years, The Seafood Restaurant is marking this milestone with a year of special events, including a new Taste of 50 Years menu (four courses £65), a Golden Celebration Break in our coastal-inspired rooms, and an anniversary cookbook, featuring the most beloved dishes from across the decades. It’s the perfect time to raise a glass to five decades of seafood, hospitality and the joys of simple, fresh fish, simply cooked.

Jack Stein’s Seafood Odyssey
Jack Stein’s Seafood Odyssey events are a celebration of his lifelong love of fresh seafood from around our coast, and bringing people together for food and drink experiences. Having grown up in and around The Seafood Restaurant, great hospitality with an air of fun comes very naturally to Jack.
The series of events will see him join forces with chefs and personalities to collaborate on dinners at Rick Stein, Barnes that are inspired by a shared love of Great British seafood with flavours and influences from around the world.

Seafood & Saxophone

Join us every Thursday evening from 6pm in our harbour view restaurant for an evening of live music with local saxophonist Wendy Allen. Sit back with a glass of your favourite wine, enjoy a table of fresh seafood and let the soulful sounds of Wendy’s saxophone set the perfect backdrop to your evening.

From elegant starters to nostalgic puddings, every course offers a choice. Designed for reminiscing and raising a glass, it’s a menu to be enjoyed with others, in the very place where it all began.

Spring Set Menus
There’s something wonderfully satisfying about a leisurely lunch, good food, good company, and a sense of time well spent. Our set menu celebrates the best seasonal ingredients, with dishes that are full of flavour and simply done well.
Many of our restaurants have their own take on a seasonal set lunch menu, inspired by the season and the local ingredients we love to cook with.

We’re excited to introduce our daily lunch specials, available at St Petroc’s Bistro in Padstow. Enjoy a new familiar favourite each day, from £15.95.
Look forward to a Cornish lobster roll, or French classics like moules frites and steak frites. Whether you’re stopping in for a quick bite or a leisurely afternoon meal, our daily lunch special is available 12pm to 3pm.

Located on the banks of the River Thames, our restaurant delivers some pleasing peace from fast-paced London life with timeless views and a nod to our Cornish homeland.
Winchester

Our Winchester restaurant brings touches of our heritage to Hampshire with Cornish catch delivered daily that our team cook simply to tried and tested recipes.
Marlborough

Our restaurant at the heart of historic Marlborough is quite different to our others. The Grade II listed building comprises various cosy dining rooms split over two floors.
The Seafood Restaurant

Our flagship restaurant in Padstow was opened by Rick and Jill in 1975. Nearly 50 years on, the menu still reflects everything that Rick set out to achieve – a celebration of great quality fish and shellfish, simply cooked.
St Petroc’s Bistro

Classic French cookery is the order of the day at our Bistro. Just steps from Padstow harbour, we first opened its doors over 30 years ago with a menu akin to a relaxed Parisian bistro, think steak frites and a large glass of Bordeaux.
Rick Stein’s Cafe
Our informal, family friendly café with atmospheric Cornish charm provides a relaxing pause in the middle of Padstow from lunch until late.
The menu features dishes inspired by Rick’s travels around the world.
The Cornish Arms

The Cornish Arms is a local village pub with good real ales and simple, classic pub menu where everyone is welcome.
If a few quiet pints are what you fancy, pull up a stool in our drinkers’ bar for a very pleasing time indeed.
Supper Clubs

Hosted by our Restaurant Managers and Head Chefs, each supper focuses on good food and fab conversation.
Our supper clubs welcome members of the community to dine on Rick’s recipes not usually found on our menus – each is themed around a different cookery book and seated in a communal style.
Masterclasses

Our hour long masterclasses cover everything from classic dishes like lobster thermidor or lessons on how to fillet fish and shuck oysters to wine tasting with our sommelier and seasonal cocktail masterclasses.

Mini Steins

Meet some of our fishy friends and learn about the creatures of our sea. A fun and interactive session for kids aged 5 -14. A chance to see our favourite seafood up close, learn how we prepare each and the chance to taste so family favourites.
